9 December 2012 saw Pegasus partner with Handel House to present an evening of carols spanning medieval times to present day. The sublime interior of John Ninian Comper’s Grosvenor Chapel in Mayfair proved to be perfect spot for an hour of Yuletide harmonies.
To celebrate the 270th anniversary of the London premiere of one of history’s most beloved oratorios, Pegasus and Belsize Baroque staged a performance of “Messiah” in the intimate surroundings of Mayfair’s Grosvenor Chapel.
Pegasus returned to St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, in what was their second performance at the church for 2013.
Pegasus presented an hour-long concert of works by three composers who pushed the boundaries – both musically and in their personal lives: Carlo Gesualdo, Francis Poulenc and Benjamin Britten.
