Pegasus choir invites you to join us for an hour-long concert of two of the most sublime choral masterpieces from the early 20th century: Vaughan Williams’s gloriously sumptuous yet luminous Mass in G minor and Parry’s Songs of Farewell – six deeply thoughtful texts about life’s final journey set to music that is at times poignantly wistful while often profoundly and richly life-affirming.The choir has strong personal links to Faversham and St Mary of Charity through one of our members. We are delighted to be spending the weekend in Faversham and hope that many attending will be able stay for a drink with us at the church after the performance.
