Pegasus joined the Friends of Shakespeare’s Globe for their annual Christmas carol concert. The evening included a range of Christmas music old and new, and special guest appearances by actors from Shakespeare’s Globe who gave seasonal readings.
Pegasus were especially excited, for the second year running, to premiere a work by composer – and Pegasus member – Andrew Hope. His “Gratia Deo” was a seasonal companion piece to “Quem Vidistis”, which Pegasus premiered in Christmas 2010.
The concert took place in the beautiful 18th-century elegance of the “Poets’ Church” and afterwards the choir and audience celebrated with wine and mince pies.
