To celebrate the 270th anniversary of the London premiere of one of history’s most beloved oratorios, Pegasus and Belsize Baroque staged a performance of “Messiah” in the intimate surroundings of Mayfair’s Grosvenor Chapel. Directed by Matthew Altham, and with soloists drawn from the choir, the concert was presented by the Handel House Museum in conjunction with their special exhibition “Charles Jennens: the man behind the Messiah”.
