Pegasus joined a stellar line-up of vocal and instrumental talent for a performance of Handel’s one-act oratorio, first performed at London’s Covent Garden Theatre in 1751. The piece gloriously depicts the youthful Hercules as he chooses between the paths of pleasure and virtue.
This hour-long benefit concert for the London Handel Festival 2012 began with one of Handel’s instrumental sonatas.
