Pegasus returned the London Handel Festival to perform a programme of pieces composed by Handel and his contemporary J.S. Bach when both composers were in their early twenties – Handel’s youthful and exuberant Dixit Dominus, and Bach’s rarely heard cantata Christ lag in Todesbanden. Pegasus were accompanied by the London Handel Orchestra and by students from the Birmingham Conservatoire.
