To mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War, Pegasus presented a programme of music and poetry written during the war and in response to it.
Winchelsea’s church of St Thomas played host to Pegasus for an evening of music and poetry commemorating the first world war. The choir performed works written during the Great War and in response to it.
We’ve had an exceptionally busy summer so far in our 21st anniversary year, with two performances of Bach’s B Minor Mass in Tilford and London, and a Shakespeare-inspired programme for the Winchelsea Arts Festival. There’s lots more coming up later this year, including our Royal Albert Hall debut!
Pegasus were honoured to be invited to sing as part of ballet superstar Carlos Acosta’s final performances, set within the grandeur of the Royal Albert Hall, this time with the music of Gabriel Fauré and Francis Poulenc
