Choral works by Percy Grainger, one of the twentieth century’s most intriguingly eclectic musicians, are the starting point for a concert inspired by the Australian’s ardent internationalism. The programme ranges from folk-influenced pieces from the British isles to compositions by contemporary Baltic composers, revealing the beauty and surprising affinities in choral music from different cultures.

Our concert, conducted by Matthew Altham, is part of the Royal Over-Seas League‘s series of Tuesday Rush Hour concerts.

Tickets £16 (children £5).
