Pegasus goes to the ballet
Pegasus took to the world-renowned stage of the Royal Albert Hall at the beginning of October for a marathon five performances supporting the superb Carlos Acosta. In this, his “Classical Farewell”, Carlos produced a tour de force of ballet repertoire including both historical and contemporary choreography. The choir were privileged to have once again been invited to support the Cuban ballet prodigy in what turned out to be an extremely emotional set of concerts, setting us up for a busy autumn and Christmas period.
A packed autumn schedule
As our 21st anniversary year draws to a close, the programme for Pegasus hots up with a week-long extravaganza at London’s world-famous Royal Albert Hall. From Monday October 3 to Friday October 7 inclusive we have been invited to perform as part of Carlos Acosta’s farewell performances as a classical ballet dancer, the fifth time in our long collaboration with the Cuban superstar. With music by Gabriel Fauré and Francis Poulenc, it promises to be an emotional farewell for all in front of a full house.
