St George's Church, Bloomsbury

Location: The Chapel, The Charterhouse

We use the gatehouse entrance out of vistors' hours (so for most evening rehearsals).

To get to the chapel, head to the right once you are through the gate, through the open arch into Master's Court and then there's a door on the right hand side of the square (looks closed, looks like you need a key card - you don't). Once inside, turn right into the shop / reception area and then straight ahead (signed) through double doors throned the Chapel Cloister and into the Chapel (follow the noise).

FYI for some rehearsals (especially for services rather than concerts) we will be in the gallery upstairs. To find us, turn left as you enter the chapel and take the door marked private up to the organ loft and keep left until you arrive at the gallery.

The Charterhouse has an incredible history starting in 1348 and is well worth a tour if you arrive early on a day it is open.
