We open a weekend at Leicester Cathedral with a service of evensong, to include the St. Paul’s Service by Herbert Howells, Ramsey’s How are the Mighty Fallen, and Elgar’s Lux aeterna.  This special service commemorates the anniversary of the death of King Richard III, with the laying of white roses at his tomb.

All are welcome; admission is free and no tickets are required.

After the service the cathedral will remain open until 7:30pm, and refreshments will be served.
