Pegasus took to the world-renowned stage of the Royal Albert Hall at the beginning of October for a marathon five performances supporting the superb Carlos Acosta. In this, his “Classical Farewell”, Carlos produced a tour de force of ballet repertoire including both historical and contemporary choreography. The choir were privileged to have once again been invited to support the Cuban ballet prodigy in what turned out to be an extremely emotional set of concerts, setting us up for a busy autumn and Christmas period.
In 2015 Pegasus returned to Winchelsea to mark the 600th anniversary of the battle of Agincourt, and the 400th anniversary of an even more decisive battle between the French and the English which took place about 200km away from Agincourt, in Waterloo.
Pegasus were delighted to perform a short recital as part of the 26th Annual London Organ Day, with music from three countries and four centuries illustrating the lasting influence of chorale melodies in European music.
Pegasus’s annual concert in support of Princess Alice Hospice featured traditional and modern Christmas carols alongside readings by Michael Aspel OBE.
